Sugar Land Family Late Night

$25 Members, $45 nonmember adults, $35 nonmember children


Bring your family for a magical evening at the new HMNS at Sugar Land location. You will enter the wardrobe and wander through the land of Narnia during this exclusive after hours event. You’ll also get to see a live chemistry demonstration and enjoy a planetarium show. Finish up the evening by digging in the dig pit and learning what is hidden beneath the surface.

Century Science Club – Crazy Cool Chemistry

CSC badge holders will get to know Jack Frost in a whole new way by following the phases of water in this crazy cool chemistry experience.

This is the final Century Science Club event of the year!

Winter Solstice Sundial Event
Monday, December 21
noon – 1 p.m. (weather permitting)
Free to the Public


On December 21, the sun makes its lowest and shortest path across the sky. Sundial shadows are longest as the sun casts its noon image on the sundial.

Each planetarium show this day will begin with a demonstration of the sun’s path and how this date marks the annual rebirth of the sun.
