With special and permanent exhibitions and new IMAX® and Planetarium films, every Museum visit can be a special and unique event. Each special event is specifically designed with children and families in mind. Visit the Museum for the current special events listed below.

Free with Cockrell Butterfly Center Ticket
Your garden loves bugs – and you should too! Visit the Cockrell Butterfly Center this Valentine’s Day weekend to learn about the good insects do for your backyard. Participate in creepy-crawly crafts, talk to our bug experts, and receive a vial of ladybugs to release in our conservatory! All proceeds benefit the Cockrell Butterfly Center. Limited to 500 patrons.
