VIP Overnight Events
Groups can enjoy the Houston Museum of Natural Science after hours when they participate in an exclusive Overnight experience. After a fun filled evening of hands-on activities overnighters will enjoy a Planetarium show in the Burke Baker Planetarium before settling down to sleep among the exhibits. Customize your Overnight by choosing from different activity topics, optional presentations and more to create your own unforgettable Overnight adventure!

Who can participate in a VIP Overnight?
Children ages 6-12 and adult chaperones
When do VIP Overnights take place?
Overnights are available Monday-Friday nights from 6:30 pm to 9:00 am the following day and Saturday nights from 6:30pm to 11:00am on Sunday. Dates are subject to availability and generally book 6 months to a year in advance. For information on availability of a specific date please email overnights@hmns.org.
What is the cost of a basic VIP Overnight?

What’s included in the basic VIP Overnight package?
- Museum Admission and garage parking for all participants
- Pizza dinner, late night snack and continental breakfast
- Planetarium show in the Burke Baker Planetarium
- Hands-on activities and tours coordinated for your group's interest - contact overnights@hmns.org for more information.
What optional upgrades are available for a VIP Overnight?
Optional upgrades include a Cool Chemistry show, live animal presentation, a live star show in the Burke Baker Planetarium, Cockrell Butterfly Center entry, and special exhibitions. Please contact the Overnight Coordinator for more information on pricing for these upgrades.
How do I schedule a VIP Overnight?
