From the comfort of your own home, earn two hours of CPE credit in our upcoming monthly virtual teacher workshops! These workshops will be taught by HMNS Educators and will be available over Zoom from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

10/5/21 – The Chemistry and Craft of Ancient Egyptian Mummification

Explore the mysteries of ancient Egyptian mummification with HMNS. Discover creative ideas on how to leverage this high-interest topic across the curriculum from chemistry to history and beyond. Participants will engage in hands-on S.T.E.A.M.-based activities using easy to find materials.

11/16/21 – The Power of the Pyramids

Unearth the evolution of the Egyptian pyramids through the lens of basic physics and geology. Engage in exciting hands-on S.T.E.A.M.-based activities as you explore the history and science of some of Egypt’s most fascinating structures.

2/15/22 – Earth Day Educators

Bring Earth Day alive in your classroom with engaging hands-on activities and ideas for encouraging your students to become Citizen Scientists.

3/22/22 – Escape Room HMNS

Explore how “breakout challenges” can be used to teach any subject, from math to science and beyond. Delve into puzzle boxes, locks, and codes as you explore new ideas for your classroom.
