The Houston Museum of Natural Science is proud to present The Educator Event @HMNS on January 19, 2019. This conference-style event gives educators a unique chance to learn about the educational opportunities provided by museums, educational nonprofits and local organizations in and around Houston. Attendees will earn three hours of CPE credit by attending a variety of exciting, hands-on workshops.
Museums, local organizations and educational non-profits are invited to participate in The Educator Event @HMNS! Participating organizations can present workshops with hands on activities, demonstrations and fun curriculum for Houston area educators. Local organizations can also host an informational table providing information about educational opportunities and programming available in the Houston area. The following museums and organizations will be participating this year. Organizations in bold will be presenting workshops.

The Educator Event @HMNS is open to all Houston-area teachers, school administrators, student teachers, education undergraduate and graduate students and home school educators. Participants will receive complimentary entrance to the HMNS permanent exhibit halls all day, and they will have the opportunity to earn three hours of CPE credit.
