Grants can be a great source of funding for your Outreach Program! Check out our list of grant opportunities and resources below.

There may be additional location-based grants or funding available as well – contact your school district or local educational foundation for more info, or check with businesses and organizations in your area. We are happy to help in providing pricing or quotes for your grant applications!

  • Wish List Grant Opportunities
    • Donors Choose
      Teachers create a classroom project idea which is entered into searchable database, and donors select a project to support. Once the required funding is reached, DonorsChoose sends funds or materials.
    • Classwish
      Similar to DonorsChoose. Teachers can create a wish list of needs, and visitors can make donations to fund.
    • Digital Wish
      Allows teachers to create a wish list for your school or classroom. Donors can donate directly to the classroom or direct money toward specific items.

  • Math-Related Grants
    • National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Grants Database
      Database of upcoming math-related grant opportunities, includes several grants which focus on creative connections of mathematics to other fields or to the world around us. Most deadlines are in mid-November.
    • Toshiba America Foundation
      Awards grants for innovative teaching in math and science, grants of less than 5k have a rolling deadline, greater than 5k are reviewed on Feb 1st and Aug 1st each year.
  • Grants for Libraries
  • General Grant Opportunities
    • Association of American Educators Classroom Grants
      Provides grants of up to $500 for classroom materials and projects, deadline is March 1st and October 1st. AAE members receive priority.
    • McCarthey Dressman Foundation
      Awards grants for innovative curriculum and teaching – deadlines are Apr 15th, funding ranges up to $10,000/year for three years.
    • Walmart Foundation Grants
      Their local giving program awards from $250 to $2500, deadline is Dec. 31 – also includes link to separate Sam’s Club grant program.
    • Wells Fargo Grants
      Supports education initiatives, particularly in low to moderate income communities. Online application with
      quarterly awards.
