Where do I check in for the labs?

You will need to check in at the Information Desk just inside the Main Entrance, and then have your lab ticket printed at the box office. Chaperones will receive a green chaperone sticker that will serve as an entrance ticket into the permanent exhibit hall area where the labs take place. Where do labs take place?

All labs take place on the Lower Level of HMNS Hermann Park (5555 Hermann Park Drive). Classroom assignments will be posted on the Lower Level outside of the Education Office.

Can I register my child the day of the lab?

Upon arrival at the museum, you may purchase entrance to ticketed venues at the Box Office at member or non-member rates depending on your membership status.

Currently, individual lab registration is only available at our Hermann Park campus. Please continue to check our website for updates!

Cancellations & Refunds

Due to limited staff time and supplies, each lab sale will be considered final.
Registrations are not transferrable from child to child.

Please note: The Museum reserves the right to cancel labs that do not meet minimum enrollment. If a lab is canceled by the Museum, patrons will be contacted no later than three business days prior to the scheduled lab and have the opportunity to switch their enrollment to another scheduled lab or receive a full refund.

Inclement Weather Policy

We will still offer scheduled labs in the event of inclement weather, unless the museum closes. The museum will post any closures on a banner on our website,

If labs are cancelled due to inclement weather there will be no refunds or exchanges.

Safety Procedures

For your child’s safety, all lab attendees MUST be escorted to and from their lab room by a parent or guardian and signed in. Due to limited chaperone seating inside the lab classroom, we ask that parents and guardians stay nearby in the hall. Please be prompt about picking your child up at the end time of the lab.

While we realize that leaving your contact information each day at sign-in may not always be convenient, in the event of an emergency we wish to have the most accurate contact information for you.
