STEM Nova Day

Thank you for your interest in STEM Nova Awards at HMNS. This year we’ll be back in person with our STEM Nova Day on October 2nd, 2021 from 9a.m – 1p.m following the STEM Nova Overnight.

Join us for a day of fun, no registration required! Experience the excitement of scouting right here at the museum! Experts and educators help you to discuss and complete various requirements throughout your day.

STEM Nova Day is included with the purchase of a permanent exhibit hall ticket, which is free for members! Check in at the Scouts@HMNS table when you arrive and pick up your STEM Nova workbook to help guide you through the requirements of your award. This year, we will be offering the 1-2-3 Go! award for Cub Scouts and Start Your Engines for Scouts BSA.

To extend your weekend experience, we will be offering Saturday Merit Badge and Adventure classes to fulfill requirement 2 of each Nova award. These classes will also be available for purchase in the online box office starting July 26th, 2021. For more information or to be added to our notification list, email scouts@hmns.org.
