Ankylosaur
Starting in Spring 2010, Stan the T. rex is joined by a variety of paleontological wonders that tell the captivating story of life on Earth during the Cretaceous through extraordinary fossils.
Hall of Physical Sciences
The science of sound, light, energy and simple machines – turned into hands-on exhibitions designed for visitors to discover how things work. From heavy lifting to mixing light, visitors control the experiment, provide the human energy and watch the results. Favorites include levers, pulleys and gears; a hand-crank generator; a standing wave machine; and dancing lasers. Graphics that show these machines in action bring the physics behind them to life.
Hall of Space Science - Expanded!
Journey into outer space! Expanded exhibitions feature stunning imagery from the Hubble Telescope, meteorites and a virtual space odyssey in the Planetarium!
Demonstration Theater
Marvel at magic – as well as the science behind these spectacular illusions – in riveting performances in the Demonstration Theater.
