Every Xploration Station visit can be a special and unique event! Each special event is specifically designed with children and families in mind. Visit the Museum for the current special events listed below.
Admission for 20 children into the X-cavation Station dinosaur dig pit
Birthday parties are available in five fun themes, and are available at $250 for members, $275 for nonmembers and a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a date.
Travel to Whiskey Bridge, a world-class site for Eocene fossils. Trip includes basic geology and paleontology lessons based on the fossils and the location. Participants will be able to learn about the Texas Eocene ecosystem and collect fossilized remains of organisms from about 50 million years ago. Fossils include numerous types of invertebrates such as shells, and the occasional vertebrate fossil such as shark teeth and fish bones. Participants will caravan to the site in their own vehicles. Other important details about event:
Ticket holders will meet at McDonalds in Bryan, Texas (corner of Hwy 21 and Hwy 6) at 9 a.m.
For every two children, one adult must accompany (their own of course)
In the event of cancelation due to extreme weather conditions, trip will be postponed to a later date.
