Webelos Engineer Activity Pin

Engineers designed your school bus, the cars on the road, the road itself, and the bridges you cross. They designed all the different kinds of computers you see at school, in offices, and at home. Airplanes, cars, and space stations are also designed by engineers.

When you earn this badge, you can work on engineering projects such as bridge models and catapults.

Webelos Forester Activity Pin

Trees and other forest plants are important parts of the interconnected life on Earth. A forester's work, taking care of trees and managing forest land, is important to the well-being of our planet. You'll learn why when you earn the Forester Activity Pin.

Whether you live on a farm, in a small town, in a large city, or even in a forest, you can learn about identifying and planting trees.

Webelos Geologist Activity Pin

Geologists investigate the history of the Earth by studying rock formations, from high on mountain peaks to deep within the Earth's crust. They are interested in learning how our planet was made. These scientists also investigate earthquakes, volcanoes, and geysers. They know about the uses of rocks and minerals. Some geologists search for mineral deposits such as gold, diamonds, coal, and oil.

While earning this pin, you'll use the Xploration Station’s resources to discover how the Earth was formed and what it contains. You'll investigate fossils and what they can tell us about our planet as it was millions of years ago.

Webelos Naturalist Activity Pin

Earn your Naturalist Pin at The Woodlands Xploration Station.  Create your own terrarium, learn to identify poisonous plants and animals that live in your area, visit the bugs that live at the Station, and much more as you earn your activity pin.

Webelos Scientist Activity Pin

The laws of nature explain much about our world and the universe around us. When you earn the Scientist Activity Pin, you'll use Xploration Station exhibits and resources to conduct scientific experiments and test some famous scientific laws. You'll explore ideas about how airplanes fly and the way changes in atmospheric pressure can move objects. You'll also experience the strange tricks your eyes and your brain can play on you.

Cub Geology Belt Loop and Pin

Fossils, rocks, minerals, volcanoes, landscapes, crystals, and caves - its all part of the world around you.  Build a rock box for your very own collection of rocks, minerals and fossils, all of which you can take home.  Take a tour through Duvall Collection of Gems and Minerals and the Zhul Collection of petrified wood.

Cub Math Belt Loop and Pin

Cubs can earn their Mathematics Belt Loop and Pin by participating in fun hands-on activities at The Woodlands Xploration Station.  Experiment with geometry, calculations, statistics, probability, and measurement using fun and inventive activities to earn your loop and pin.

Cub Weather Belt Loop and Pin

Learn about weather from the everyday to the dangerous. Build a working weather station with a barometer and a thermometer to take home.  Learn how its different components can help you so you can make your own forecast.  Discover what causes the weather in our area from tornadoes to hurricanes.
