Giant Prickly Stick
Extatosoma tiaratum
As adults, these spiny walkingsticks from tropical Asia often contort their bodies into a curved position, increasing their resemblance to a dead leaf or twig. As nymphs, they often mimic ants as a means of protection from their predators.
