Coral reefs of the southwestern Gulf of Mexico and Yucatan Peninsula
Effects of oil spills on the marine environment
Systematics, distribution, and ecology of molluscs

Recent Appointments

Dr. Tunnell is the Director of the Center for Coastal Studies at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.

He is also the Associate Director for the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies.
