The George Observatory main campus is closed until further notice for renovations. Fear not stargazers, we will still be setting up at the Nature Center every Saturday from Sunset – 10 PM (weather permitting).

George Observatory Telescopes
Stargazers marvel at the night sky through the George Observatory’s telescopes, far away from the light pollution of the big city. It is truly a sight you won’t want to miss!
Telescope tickets are available at the George Observatory Gift Shop on Saturdays.
Adults: $10 | Members: $7 | Children, Military, Teachers, or Seniors: $9
Because stargazing is weather dependent, tickets may only be purchased in-person. In the event of overcast skies, tours and talks by our expert astronomers are still available.
Planetarium at the Observatory!
Available Saturday nights from 3:30 – 9 p.m
Blast into outer space no matter the weather with our inflatable Discovery Dome Planetarium. A different full-dome adventure is available every half hour on Saturday nights. Tickets are $3.50.
