Join us as we Space Out in Sugar Land and go beyond our planet to explore its role in the Solar System! Our HMNS docent asks “What is a Goldilocks planet? You’ll soon find out the answer, as we learn what the habitable zone of a star is and which known planets are in the zone.
Why are Earth’s tides governed by our Moon, and not the Sun, even though the Sun is much bigger? A NASA volunteer will show you why, along with a hands on activity. More crafts and special presentations in our digital dome planetarium add up to some out-of-this-world fun!
