Scouts BSA

Scouts BSA Merit Badge classes are designed for boys or girls who are 11 to 17 years of age, have earned the Cub Scouting Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have finished the fifth grade.  Classes are at least four hours long and will begin at 9:30 a.m. Scouts need to bring a sack lunch with them.

Scouts@HMNS is proud to offer several classes for Merit Badges required to attain the rank of Eagle! These special courses are denoted with an asterisk (*). All classes aim to fulfill the requirements of the badge, but outside work may be required in some instances.

If prerequisite work is incomplete prior to class, please mail the blue card with proof of completed requirements to:
The Houston Museum of Natural Science
Attn: Michelle Connor
5555 Hermann Park Drive
Houston, TX 77030

Our certified Merit Badge counselors will review the work and return all materials within 1-2 weeks.
