Exciting, Interactive Workshops for Teachers

Discover a new world of science as you go behind the scenes with HMNS curators and staff in these exciting, interactive workshops.  These programs are for adults only.

Each event provides you with ideas and activities to bring your classroom to life! Inspired by the runaway success of the Museum’s Xplorations summer camps and school-year science labs, these workshops give the HMNS teaching staff an opportunity to share what they do best!

Where do I Start? Teaching Energy at all Levels

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

HMNS Energy Conservation Club generously supported Marathon Oil Corporation presents "Where do I start? Teaching Energy at all Levels." Whether you have a school, church or scout group of children grades K-12, this workshop will help you locate the resources needed to teach about energy and conservation. You will learn how to inspire your children to conserve, along with fun science learning activities, contests, and more through the ECC web site.

$20 per person, snack and 3 hours of CPE credit are provided.
