Brownie and Daisy Girl Scouts
Saturday Brownie Trails
Brownie Trails are designed for the youngest scouts and parents to enjoy the Museum and learn together! Girl Scout Brownies and Daisies and American Heritage Girls Pathfinder and Tenderheart will have an introductory lesson on their trail topic and go on a teaching tour through the Museum Exhibit Halls. Each scout will then make their own hands-on craft activity to take home. Trails are designed to make science fun and interesting to all young girls.
Brownie Girl Scout classes are also available at HMNS Sugar Land.
Trail Topics include:
Americas - Hall of the Americas
Butterflies - Cockrell Butterfly Center
Dinos & Gems - Morian Hall of Paleontology and Cullen Hall of Gems & Minerals
Egypt - Hall of Ancient Egypt
Space - Burke Baker Planetarium
Each class is from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. or 12:00 - 2:30 p.m. Prices are $15 per scout for members. $20 per scout for non-members, and $5 for all adults. Scouts are encouraged to wear their uniform.
All Brownies must have a chaperone in attendance. (1 Chaperone per 5 scouts)
