Voyages of Discovery
 

Voyages of Discovery was on display at the Houston Museum of Natural Science from Oct. 9, 2000 through Jan. 7, 2001. 

Naturalists’ journeys to distant lands have changed our view of the world.  This exhibition looked at some major British voyagers of the last three centuries.  The rare treasures they brought back were displayed, including precious specimens and exquisite artworks, all put into the context of our increasing knowledge of the natural world. The exhibition  Voyages of Discovery  was organized by The Natural History Museum, London.
