Sugar Land Tiger Trails

Tiger and Bobcat Cub Scouts

Beginner Cubs can start their advancement through scouting with Tiger Trails. This program is designed to introduce science to young scouts, primarily using the exhibit halls to teach. Each class starts with a short lesson on the topic, then takes a guided teaching tour through the exhibit halls and concludes with a fun craft or experiment to take home.

Geology Tiger Trail

Earn the Geology Belt Loop as you learn different rock types and tour the amazing collection of crystals and geodes and fossils in the exhibits. Then make your own rock box and start a collection of rocks, minerals, and fossils to take home.

Science Tiger Trail

Learn how scientists use the Scientific Method, and then conduct your own amazing experiment. Use you science knowledge to study physics in the Discovery Works and take a guided tour through the Frogs exhibit. Each scout will take home the results of his experiment.
