Spend The Night At The Museum!

On several set dates, the Museum is offering individual registration to scouts for an opportunity to spend the night at the Museum! This new program is perfect for small scout groups.

Join us for our first Scout Adventure Night on May 17!

Spend the night at the Museum! Tigers, Cubs and Webelos can all have an exclusive adventure through the Museum exhibit halls, with activities and late-night flashlight super safari through our giant new paleontology hall. Also included are special programs in the Burke Baker Planetarium, where scouts have a clear night adventure under the stars!

This Scout Adventure Night is just $50 per person – a special price for this May 17 pilot program.

Admission includes:

A flashlight super safari of the Museum’s new Paleontology Hall 
A scavenger hunt in the Hall of Gems & Minerals Hall, a craft in the Hall of Texas Wildlife and access to the Hall of African Wildlife.
Live show in the Burke Baker Planetarium
Late night snack
Continental Breakfast
Overnight parking in the HMNS garage
Admission to HMNS Exhibit Halls on May 18

Book early, spaces are limited! This program is designed for small groups to register individually.

Please note: Based on BSA rules for overnight events for cub scouts, we require a ratio of one parent for every two children.

Registered Tiger, Cub and Webelos Scouts and their parents or guardian. Siblings (ages 6-12) of registered scouts attending with their parent or guardian are also eligible to register for this event.

2. Following receipt of your registration form, HMNS will send you confirmation once payment is processed, along with the HMNS release and consent form and the Chaperone Guide.
