Hours & Admission Fees
Please note that the times listed below are our normal hours of operation. There may be extended hours of operation during holiday periods and there may be early closings at any time. Call 713-639-4629 to get information on any changes to our normal hours of operation that may be in effect that day.

Normal Operating Hours
Monday, September 3, 2007 - Sunday, June 1, 2008
Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Extended Hours: Free Late Tuesday starting Jan. 8, 2008
The permanent exhibit halls are open free for patrons every Tuesday from 2 pm to 8 pm. Special Exhibitions require paid admission (last entry at 7 pm)

Tickets may be purchased online or by calling 713-639-IMAX (4629).
The Museum accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
All tickets are for single entry, except the Main Exhibit Halls. You are allowed exit and re-entry privileges only in the Main Exhibit Halls. Admission to the Main Exhibit Halls is free on Tuesdays after 2 p.m.
Please note: The duration of any particular show varies. IMAX® films are generally 40 minutes long and Planetarium shows are approximately 20 minutes long.
