George Observatory Mission Birthdays

Parties at the George Observatory:

Be an astronaut for your birthday!  Kids, ages 8 and up, register for one of these exciting missions and blast off for fun!   Bring the cake and enjoy beautiful Brazos Bend State Park for the party.   The mission fee includes the use of an indoor table for 1 hour.  There are also covered pavilions for rent in the State Park for the entire day.   For more information call 281-242-3055 or visit www.georgeobservatory.org.

SS Observer Junior Mission Birthday Party
Cost: $275/mission (+ $1.00 per person park entrance fee)
Max: 20 children/mission
Ages: 8 - 9 years old
When: Can be scheduled between 10 am and 1 pm on Saturdays
This unique hour-long program gives eight- and nine- year-olds the opportunity to fly into space. You must have one adult for every three children.

SS Observer Mini Mission Birthday Party
Cost: $275/mission (+ $1.00 per person park entrance fee)
Max: 20 children/mission
Ages: 10 years and up
When: Can be scheduled between 10 am and 1 pm on Saturdays
Students become astronauts operating the spacecraft on the one-hour mission.  Museum staff will operate Mission Control for the spacecraft.

Note: We have found that Challenger Missions are too realistic for children age 7 and under, and these children can become upset during the party.
