Making SPACE for the Future
For more than half a century, the Burke Baker Planetarium has brought the wonders of the night sky to millions of visitors. We believe it is an educational resource to be promoted and protected, giving the next generation of students the opportunity to explore the universe – without leaving their seats.
For a better view of space, you’d have to suit up. The recent renovation of the Burke Baker Planetarium has made HMNS the center of the universe, but, to make sure you always have your name on the captain’s log, why not brand a seat with your name? The Museum is offering planetarium “seats” to those who want to be a permanent part of cosmic history. Each seat will be designated with a small plaque placed on the arm rest between two seats (1” by 3”) and can contain up to 3 lines of text with 25 characters/spaces per line, for a $2,000.00 donation. A small price to pay to align yourself (or loved ones) with the universe!
