Welcome to the Beyond Bones Podcast, a science podcast by the Houston Museum of Natural Science. This show is all about looking beyond the bones and beyond the artifacts to explore the personal stories that inspire HMNS’s collections.

Many of the exhibits that we house and the artifacts within them tell fascinating stories too big for a text panel, and thus have been rendered silent to all but the privileged few who have access to their documentation for years. No More!

In this podcast, host Chris Wells talks with experts in an array of topics ranging from exotic cuisine to Houston music history, with a healthy degree of social science, anthropology, biology and more for some eye-opening educational entertainment. We will leave no stone unturned in our search for engaging and thought-provoking content.
