Title: Curating Curiosity

Description: Curiosity is key for learning retention and success. Discover the secret to creating curiosity in the classroom by exploring innovative ideas for differentiating your curriculum using the Museum as a catalyst for creativity. We will use the King Tut’s Tomb: Discovery Experience and other areas of the Museum as a platform to “curate” innovative ideas for using high-interest topics to drive student engagement.

Educators will start their day in the Wortham Giant Screen Theatre with a special viewing of Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs and will view King Tut’s Tomb Discovery Experience during this workshop.

Educators will receive six hours of Gifted and Talented credit in the area of differentiation or a 6-hour update credit upon completion.
