Refer a Friend

When you register for Summer Scout Classes at HMNS, you’ll receive a confirmation number. Send your confirmation number to a friend to use as their discount code when they register. They’ll receive $25 off a Five-Day In-Person Summer Scout classes or $10 off a Virtual Summer Scout Class, and you’ll receive a $25 refund for your Five-Day In-Person Summer Scout class or $10 refund for your Virtual Summer Scout class once their registration has been processed.

Your friend must book no more than two weeks after your child’s scout class takes place for the refund to apply to 2023. If your friend books more than two weeks after your child’s class takes place, you’ll receive a $25 voucher for a future Five-Day In-Person Summer Scout Classes at HMNS or $10 voucher for a future Virtual Summer Scout Classes at HMNS purchase. Referrals are only valid for 2023 confirmation numbers.

To apply the discount, first register online at tickets.hmns.org. After registering, email scouts@hmns.org with subject “Refer a Friend”. Provide your confirmation number and the one you received from a friend in the email. You’ll receive $25 refund for your one Five-Day In-Person Summer Scout Class or $10 refund for your one Virtual Summer Scout Class , and your friend will receive a $25 refund for their Five-Day In-Person Summer Scout Class or $10 refund for their Virtual Summer Scout Class once you’ve successfully booked.

This discount is not available through our online box office. You must email HMNS Reservations at scouts@hmns.org to receive the referral discount.

Unfortunately, you can only receive one “Refer a Friend” discount per scout class. However, if you book multiple classes with us this summer, you can receive one discount per referred friend who successfully books five-day scout classes. For example, if you register for three five-day In-Person Summer Scout Classes, refer three friends who book In-Person Summer Scout Classes, you’ll receive $25 off each five-day In-Person Summer Scout Class.

Refunds will be processed once a week on Friday afternoons. Your refund should appear on your statement the week following the week your friend registers with your confirmation number as a referral code.

If your friend books more than two weeks after your child’s camp takes place, you’ll receive a $25 voucher for a future Five-Day In-Person Summer Scouts Class at HMNS or a $10 voucher for a future Virtual Summer Scouts Class at HMNS purchase instead of a refund. Referral only valid for 2023 confirmation numbers.

No, you may only apply one discount per five-day in-person class or virtual class. If you’d like to apply an additional discount, you will only be able to apply it to an additional class.

This discount may not be applied to Museum District Explorers camp.

If you’d like to apply a second referral discount, you’ll only be able to apply it to a second five-day class. You may not combine these offers to receive two referral discounts on one class.

You’ll only be able to apply your referral discount to one five-day class. If you’d like to receive a discount on both classes, refer two friends!
