Don’t keep the fun all to yourself! Share your HMNS summer adventures with a friend. Refer a friend to Summer Scouts at HMNS and you’ll both receive $25 off one Summer Scout program! When you register for Summer Scouts at HMNS, you’ll receive a confirmation number. Send your confirmation number to a friend to use as their discount code when they register. They’ll receive $25 off their camp, and you’ll receive a $25 refund for your class once their registration has been processed.
Your friend must book no more than two weeks after your child’s camp takes place for the refund to apply to 2022. If your friend books more than two weeks after your child’s camp takes place, you’ll receive a $25 voucher for a future Summer Scout Classes at HMNS purchase. Referral only valid for 2022 confirmation numbers.
How does it work if I’ve been referred?
To apply the discount, fill out a Registration Form and write “Refer a Friend” and the confirmation number you received from a friend at the top of the form. Send the completed Registration Form to the Camp Registrar via email (summercamp@hmns.org) or fax (713-639-4681). You’ll receive $25 off one class, and your friend will receive a $25 refund for their class once you’ve successfully booked.
Can I register online and receive the “Refer a Friend” discount?
This discount is not available through our online box office. You must email or fax your Registration Form to the Summer Scouts at HMNS Registrar to receive the referral discount.
Can I receive multiple discounts for one camp?
Unfortunately, you can only receive one “Refer a Friend” discount per class. However, if you book multiple classes with us this summer, you can receive one discount per referred friend who successfully books class. For example, if you register for three class, refer three friends – if they book, you’ll receive $25 off each class.
I referred a friend. When can I expect to receive my refund?
Refunds will be processed once a week on Friday afternoons. Your refund should appear on your statement the week following the week your friend registers with your confirmation number as a referral code.

Can this be combined with other offers?
No, you may only apply one discount per class. If you’d like to apply an additional discount, you will only be able to apply it to an additional class.
I was referred by a friend, and I’ve referred someone else. Can I receive two referral discounts on my class?
If you’d like to apply a second referral discount, you’ll only be able to apply it to a second class. You may not combine these offers to receive two referral discounts on one class.
If I’ve signed up two children for two classes the same week can I receive a $25 discount off both classes?
You’ll only be able to apply your referral discount to one class. If you’d like to receive a discount on both classes, refer two friends!
