Moran Ecoteen Summer Volunteer Program

Learn, Grow, Inspire, from One Generation to the Next

The summer Moran Ecoteen Volunteer Program is our largest high school volunteer program. Rising 9th-11th graders apply to the program and fill a vital role at the Museum in the Summer Camps @ HMNS program and in the museum exhibit halls.  As a volunteer you will have the unique opportunity to interact with Museum staff and visitors while participating in natural science activities.  The Museum offers a wide variety of experiences providing practical and hands-on science experiments.

Ecoteens learn skills that can enhance future resumes, applications, and careers; and enjoy learning and forming friendships with other teens who have interests in diverse areas of natural science.

Moran Ecoteens assist teachers and work with enthusiastic young campers in the Museum’s summer science camp classes.  Some Ecoteens are also trained to give exhibit hall presentations using Museum specimens and artifacts and engage visitors of all ages.

The Summer 2022 Moran Ecoteen Application will be available beginning December 2021
