Museum visits are more fun with a friend! Educators, refer one of your friends, and once they complete their membership purchase and we verify your membership, you’ll both receive an additional month of membership at no cost..

To refer a friend, share the referral link provided above. The first page will ask whether or not they are an educator. Once they make their appropriate selection, they’ll be taken to a page to complete their information for their membership account. They should put your information in the “Who Referred You” section, so you receive your two complimentary tickets once their membership purchase is complete. To complete the referral section, the person you referred will need the following information from you: your first and last name, the full mailing address associated with your membership account, and the email address associated with your membership account. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to determine the appropriate information if you are unsure.
If someone has referred you, click the referral link above. On the first page, make the appropriate selection depending on whether or not you are an educator. On the next page, complete your information. This information will be used to create your membership account. In the “Who Referred You” section, provide the information for the person who referred you. You will need the following information from the person who referred you: their first and last name, their full mailing address associated with their membership account, and their email address associated with their membership account. Once your membership purchase is complete, you both will receive one additional month of membership at no cost.
If you selected “yes” to being an educator on the first page, we’ll send you an email to verify your status as an educator once you complete your information on the second page. After we’ve verified your status, we’ll send you a link where you can securely provide payment for your discounted educator membership. Once your payment is processed, your membership is active!
No, you are welcome to refer anyone who is looking to join the HMNS member family! Only educators are eligible to receive a discount on their membership, but anyone you refer can receive an additional month of membership once the membership purchase is complete.
You will receive an additional month of membership once the person you’ve referred completes their membership purchase whether they are an educator or not.
Yes, in order to receive an additional month of membership and refer someone, you’ll need to have a current HMNS membership and be flagged as an educator. Click here to join or email email@example.com to verify your educator status on your current membership!
To redeem your free virtual lecture, email firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, include which lecture you’d like access to. Once we confirm your status as an educator member and your lecture, we’ll send you the access information and the Zoom link. View a list of available lectures.
To sign your class up for Adopt-a-Class, email EducationQuestions@hmns.org. Once we confirm your status as an educator member, we’ll pass your contact information along to our Volunteer Department. They’ll contact you directly to set you up with your docent!
