The Houston Museum of Natural Science is pleased to announce that the 2020 Excellence in Science Luncheon will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in the Wiess Energy Hall at HMNS. This year, the Museum will proudly honor Mr. Henry R. Hamman for his leadership, commitment to science, and unwavering dedication to HMNS.
During the luncheon, HMNS will present the 2020 Excellence in Science and Math Awards to two students and two educators from the greater Houston area. These awards, made possible by an endowment fund established by The Cockrell Foundation, will include the Wilhelmina C. Robertson Teaching Excellence Awards in Science and Math and the Evelyn S. Frensley Outstanding Student Awards in Science and Math. Proceeds from the luncheon support the Museum’s commitment to provide science education to thousands.
